THIRD EYE PICKS OF THE WEEK: FATALE #7 — CTHULHU NOIR! Seriously, this series is so damn good, it’s ridiculous. Pure awesomeness from cover to cover, Brubaker kills it month after month alongside Sean Phillips on FATALE, and we really cannot get enough of the book.
A story of seedy characters, the criminal underworld, and the occult underside that exists parallel to it, this series brings a very sinister, and very unique take to the world of crime comics, and we love it.
Imagine if you took the occultism and well-researched horror folklore of Mike Mignola’s HELLBOY & BPRD and ran it through a steady blender of Brubaker & Phillip’s own CRIMINAL… you’d totally get FATALE.
