The future has arrived! Who needs transporters or jetpacks when you can have freshly made, piping hot pizza dispensed from a vending machine? Actually, we’d like to have transporters and jetpacks as well, but we’ll accept instant pizza for starters.
PizzaMarketplace is reporting that Dutch company A1 concepts will soon debut the world’s first pizza-making vending machine, Let’s Pizza, in the United States. The machine, created by Italian designer Claudio Torghele, makes pizza in less than 3 minutes using an infra-red oven. Let’s Pizza machines have been used in European locations since 2009.
“Let’s Pizza kneads the dough, forms a round, adds tomato sauce, layers toppings – and then bakes it all in front of your very eyes. There are no frozen pizzas here; Let’s Pizza is a mini-pizzeria that’s open 24 hours a day!”
